Winter Cheer

Snow

Crisp

Clean

White

Winter is

In sight

With holiday cheer

All around here

I feel December magic

The birth of

A spiritual leader

The miracle

Of oil

And the harvests

Of Africa

An evergreen tree

With bells and whistles

And tinsel and popcorn

And a golden star on top

With multi-colored presents underneath

A menorah

With 9 candles

A wooden dreidel next to it

A kanarah

With 7 candles

Of black

Red

And green

With winter’s magic in the air

I lace up my skates

With movement so fair

Joy it creates

And if you prefer

Skiing

There’s that

Too

Beautifully wrapped

Intricately mapped

Presents and

Gifts

Are what we like best

Piles here

Piles there

But don’t forget

To do
